What Supernova is
Supernova is a creative house built on a simple belief: everyone has a story worth seeing.
We turn that belief into visuals. From CGI commercials and product launches to brand films and live experiences, we make work that holds attention and makes people feel something before they've read a word.
We do it in two ways:
Studio
High-end CGI and visual effects for brands. Product commercials, launch films, motion design and immersive experiences, produced end to end in-house.
One feeds the other. What we learn on client work goes straight into what we teach, and the artists we train are the ones we want to work alongside.
02 / THE FOUNDER
Who's behind it
Supernova was founded by Seif Hussam, a 3D artist and product animator based in Cairo.
Seif came to visual art through code. He graduated in Computer Science from the Arab Academy for Science & Technology in 2021, then specialised in 3D animation at ITI's Digital Arts and Design Academy on a Cabinet of Ministers scholarship. That combination — a technical foundation and an artist's eye — shapes how Supernova works: creatively ambitious, technically precise.
He started sharing what he knew online in 2020. Since then he's built a community of more than half a million followers across platforms and trained over 10,000 students — many of them now working professionally in the field. In 2024 he brought the studio and the academy together under one roof and called it Supernova.
Today the studio has delivered hundreds of commercials for brands across Egypt and the Gulf, spanning fragrance, confectionery, FMCG and hospitality. Seif directs that output while continuing to teach.

What is Supernova, and what does the company do?
Supernova brings creative production and education together under one brand. Our studio works with clients on visual content and creative projects, while our learning platform helps aspiring creators develop practical skills in 3D, animation, visual effects and AI.
What is the difference between the studio and the learning platform?
Our studio is for brands, businesses and clients looking for creative production services. Our learning platform is for students and creators who want to learn, practice and develop their own projects. Both are part of Supernova, but each has its own dedicated website and experience.
How can I work with the Supernova studio?

Do I need previous experience to join a course?
Not at all. Our beginner-friendly courses are designed to help you start from zero, even if you have never opened a 3D application before. You will build your skills step by step, with practical exercises and projects. Your progress will depend on the time and effort you put in.
How do the courses work? Will I have lifetime access?
Courses are pre-recorded and hosted online on our learning platform. Once enrolled, you can watch the lessons wherever and whenever it suits you, revisit them as often as you like, and keep access to your purchased course for life.
Will I get support while learning?
Yes. You will have access to a technical support team and a community group for enrolled students. You can ask questions when you get stuck, share experiences and learn alongside other creators.
How long does it take to complete a course?
It depends on your pace and the course. As a practical guide, studying for around two hours a day may help you complete a course in approximately four to six weeks, depending on its scope and your consistency. Many of our 9,000+ learners have used a steady learning routine to make progress toward creating their own projects.
What happens after I finish my course?
Your learning journey does not have to end there. After completing your course, you get one complimentary month in our Advanced Community. It features deeper tutorials and tools, updates from the creative industry, member challenges, and behind-the-scenes learning from real projects, including The Fly and Moussa music video.
How much does the Advanced Community cost after the free month?
After your complimentary month, continuing is entirely optional at $9 per month. You can decide whether the additional projects, resources and community activities are right for you. Choosing not to continue does not affect your lifetime access to your purchased course.
